Financial burdens are a major barrier to education for many students.

The QUT Law Founders’ Scholarship provides financial support and mentoring opportunities to law students in their crucial first year of study, allowing them to strive for academic and personal excellence, regardless of their socio-economic background.

Since the first Law Founders' scholarships were awarded almost 20 years ago, the generosity of alumni, staff, passionate individuals, and the legal community has helped over 100 students. As a result, many recipients now enjoy established and highly successful professional careers.

With more need than resources available, your contribution can help us support more students and transform their lives for the better.

Your gift will help:

  • Support bright and ambitious law students by reducing financial stress for the entirety of their degree
  • Empower driven students to achieve their dreams
  • Offer tangible and long-lasting opportunities in helping to finance future scholarships
  • Close the gap between the number of students who apply for a scholarship and those we can currently help

The real-world impact of your gift:

Through the QUT Law Founders’ Scholarship, you can support students in need to strive for academic and personal excellence and build successful careers to encourage a healthy and diverse legal profession.
